Fingerspelling Practice Series - Set of DVDs

Each DVD in the series focuses on a different domain in which fingerspelling might occur. Simulated real life situations show a wide variety of fingerspelling rates, rhythms, and styles and including both male and female, right and left hand signers. Special camera angles allow you to practice reading fingerspelling from different conversational angles to the right, the left, in front of, and to the side. Two instructional sections and a self-correcting comprehension section are included. The subjective perspective section is designed as a tool for improving fingerspelling production by allowing viewers to imitate several fingerspelling rates, rhythms, and styles. The conversational perspective section is designed as a tool for improving fingerspelling comprehension by presenting viewers with several fingerspelling rates, rhythms, and styles from different conversational perspectives.
