ASL in Action: A Classroom Simulation

This kit allows students to develop and refine a range of ASL skills including persuading, disagreeing, negotiating, seeking clarification, and reporting. All of this is done within the framework of planning an ASL Festival. There are five stages to the simulation which can be completed in as little as twenty minutes each. The time required for the simulation is totally flexible and can be determined by the instructor. Great practice for intermediate and advanced ASL students. The kit includes includes: Administrator's notebook - instructions, reproducible print materials with tips and suggestions for the instructor. Two videotapes - a main stimulus videotape including an introduction to the simulation with instructions to be used as a guide for project planning, and a talent audition videotape for festival performers.
