The Gospel of Luke: An ASL Translation

This ASL translation project was funded by the National Council of Churches (NCC). Four team members worked on the translations Patrick Graybill (ASL Translator), Rev. Kevin Kreutzer (ASL Consultant), Charlotte Baker-Shenk (Bilingual Consultant), and Rev. Jim Scullion (Source Text Greek Scholar). In addition, 30 members of the Deaf Community also participated in the process. The series consists of 5 tapes for a total of over 7 hours. Each of the 5 tapes is over 90 minutes long and includes a glossary of terms showing both the ASL and English translations of the original Greek terms along with a demonstration of the actual translation process.
